Les Houches: A true French village at the foot of Mont Blanc

The ski area
Situaed between 950 and 1900 meters above sea level, the Les Houches ski area offers a wide range of skiing opportunities! Beginner skiers will be welcomed on the plateua of the Prarion in the specially equipped area above the Prarion gondola, to nurture them through their first slides on the snow. A snow garden is available for the little ones administered by the French ski school: ESF les Houches.
Enthusiastic skiers will experience the thrills of the challenge of the famous “Verte des Houches” piste, and freestyle enthusiasts can head to the snowpark next to the Schuss des Dames chairlift and divided into two zones of different ability levels.
An extraordinary panorama! With its 55 kilometers of tracks and 120 snow cannons the ski area guarantees you the quality of snow cover throughout the ski area.

Les Houches resort offers cross-country ski trails around Lac des Chavants. At the start of the Chavants, there is also a specific trail for lovers of cross-country skiing.
Speed riding, ski joëring, or sled dogs … the skiing can be seen in all its forms at les Houches! But you can also discover the fauna and flora of the mountain at your own pace, by walking along the pedestrian routes or by walking on snowshoes.
The children will enjoy the joys of the toboggan run or the ice rink, or dare to introduce themselves to indoor climbing and enjoy the visit of the St. Bernard breeding kennels
